Photoshop Tennis

Over the next several days each of you will have an opportunity to participate in a wonderful activity. This activity is more like a game than it is like an assignment. Each of you will be paired up with one of your peers. The two of you will then create compositions in Photoshop. Each time a new "Volley" begins, you will switch your PSD file with your "competitors". You will then try to "one-up", revamp, repurpose, or simply destroy their piece (artistically of course). Beware though, a new Volley will begin the next day. With each volley, you are encouraged to push your learning to the next level. Consider exploring online tutorials, contest sites, and stock-image collections for ideas and supporting elements. Don't merely do the same thing each volley, continually try something new.

At the end of each volley, save TWO files into the correct "Match" folder located in the
"PS-Tennis" folder on the DGS drive.

The first file that should be saved is the PSD with your changes, it will overwrite the original. Strive to be as non-destructive as possible!

The second file should be a JPEG created by selecting save-as and choosing JPEG as the format. Name the file "YourName-Volley99.JPG". Of course use your name, and replace the 99 with the Volley that was just finished.
