The Final Composite Project for this course should result in a culmination of the skills each of you have attained. You will be graded on the sophistication of your solution to the problem, your adherence to good design principles, the quality of your work, and the reviews given by your peers. The following Options are available for the Final Project. Select an option and develop a solution for the client.
Content Option 1: Hard Head
Hard Head incorporated has hired you to develop a Poster for their new line of hair gels and sprays. The company is trying to appeal to the teenage and pre-teen market. They would like you to create a mock-up design for their product and an ad that will be used in several publications. Use your newly acquired skills in Digital Imaging to adhere to the clients request.Content Option 2: Freaky Fuel
The recent increase in the sales of power drinks, has prompted the Freaky Fuel company to create a new power drink. Utilize your Digital Imaging skills to create a mock-up of the product. Present this product in a full-page magazine ad or Poster.Content Option 3: Colossal Candies
Colossal Candies would like you to utilize your Digital Imaging skills to create a mock-up of a new candy. Present this product in a full-page magazine ad or Poster.Content Option 4: Your Own Twist
I'm certain that many of you have some wonderful ideas that would require the use of the same skill set needed in the previous three options. If you would like to do a poster or full-page magazine ad for a different product, service, or organization; just come talk to me first.
All Projects will be presented in class time for critique. A printed version of the piece is required, and the PSD must be uploaded to the appropriate folder on the DGS drive.
