Demonstrate your ability to complete the following tasks in InDesign. Try to fit all items on a single page while maintaining legibility.
- Create a basic text frame containing filler text formatted with a serif font of your choice, increase the leading and right align the text.
- Create an Ellipse that contains filler text formatted with an italicized san-serif font of your choice.
- Download and install a font, use the font in InDesign to create a heading of your first and last name adjust font-size, tracking, and kerning as necessary.
- Use a Heavy-Weighted San-Serif, increase the size above 48pts and type the word "AVALANCHE" in UPPERCASE; and adjust the kerning to eliminate problems, and shift the baseline for 3-4 of the characters.
- Insert a GLYPH (or dingbat) at a size greater than 250pt in your document, change its color and place it beneath all other content in the document.
- Insert a small text-frame, type a sentence or famous quote into it, choose a script typeface and adjust its point size. Rotate the frame 15 degrees and enable text-wrapping.
- Create 3 small text-frames; one for each of these words: "ANGER, "LOVE", "ACTION" ; find a suitable typeface for each word (think about the word's meaning, the typeface should reflect the meaning)
- Type a sentence so that it follows a path, this could be a curve or something you create with the pen-tool.
- Add an additional text-box or modify an existing one, so that the text is presented with outlines.
- Create one last text-box, type the word "UNIQUE" into it. Experiment with the word, do something that you have not already done.
